When we came to this college
With hopes and a little bit of hesitation in our eyes...
Gone are the days...
When final year seniors
Walked in to drill us during breaks...
Gone are the days...
When we rushed up to ED-Hall
And returned to rooms - thanks to our professor!
Gone are the days...
When we measured humps, beeps and amps,
But wrote our own numbers
Gone are the days...
When the lectures about flooring, electricity and instrumentation
Used to be so relaxing that every one slept
Gone are the days...
When being in HOD's class meant
We could do anything but study
Gone are the days...
When we saw classmates and dared to day-dream
What if they were our lifemates
Gone are the days...
That we could convert education tours
Into vacation tours...
Gone are the days...
When one month of study holiday
Meant "vacations" before examination every sem
Gone are the days...
When symposiums or sports event or college days
Meant fun, fry and frolic...
Gone are the days...
When lab coats, records, and formulae
Used to be so stressful...
Gone are the days...
How changing rooms and meeting new friends
Used to be so educative
Gone are the days...
We learnt, we enjoyed, we played, we won, we lost
We laughed, we cried, we fought, we thought
Gone are the days...
With so much fun in them, so many friends
So much experience, all this and more
Gone are the days...
But not the memories, which will be lingering
In our hearts for ever and ever and ever and ever....
